Mr. Yung was admitted to practise in Hong Kong in 1979 and has been a Partner since 1981.
Engaged mainly in Banking, Finance, Commercial and Intellectual Property matters, he is the Senior Partner of the firm, a Notary Public (1990) and China-Appointed Attesting Officer (1993).
Mr. Yung is also admitted in England and Wales, Australia (Victoria) and Singapore.
He is a member of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association and an Arbitrator of the PRC Shenzhen Arbitration Commission.
Mr. Yung has been awarded the Bronze Bauhinia Star (BBS) in 1999 and has been appointed a Justice of the Peace in 2008 by the Hong Kong SAR Government.
He is the Chairman of the Transport Tribunal and the President of the Association of China-Appointed Attesting Officers.

Ms. Kong was admitted to practise in Hong Kong in 1978. Ms. Kong is

Managing Partner of the firm since 1988. Her main practice is
Matrimonial Litigation. She is Chairman of the Family Law Committee
of the Law Society of Hong Kong and Chairman of the Appeal Tribunal
Panel (Buildings) of Housing, Planning and Lands Bureau. In

Mr. Ma was educated in Hong Kong and in England. He graduated
with honours from the University of Hull, England in 1977. He was
admitted to practise in England and Wales in 1981 and is also
admitted in Hong Kong, Australia (Victoria) and Singapore.
Mr. Ma is a Notary Public and is currently the President of the
Hong Kong Society of Notaries. He is also a China-Appointed
Attesting Officer and a Civil Celebrant.
He has been appointed as Committee Member of The People's
Republic of China Political and Consultative Conference Hunan
Province and as a Visiting Professor of the China Agricultural
University.
Mr. Ma is experienced in corporate, commercial and company work.
He also handles China-related joint venture, property and civil
litigation work.
In addition, Mr. Ma is director and/or legal advisor to numerous
companies, banks, institutions, charitable organizations and
chambers of commerce.
Mr. Ma's father, the late Mr. Ma Kam Ming, M.B.E., was the
Chairman of Tai Sang Bank Limited.

Mr. Tang was educated in the U. K. and
graduated from The University of Manchester with a B.Sc. (Hons)
degree. He was admitted to practise in Hong Kong in 1980 and is
also admitted in England and Wales and Singapore. He is a Notary

Mr. Tang has been in active and continuing
general practice for more than 27 years. He is experienced
particularly in the conveyancing field and civil litigation.
He has gained extensive experience in New
Territories land and Tso/Tong matters, including Government
resumption of land and the resumption by KCRC for Western Railway,
etc.

Mr. Cheung, David Kin-Chun (張健俊)

Mr. Cheung was admitted to practise in Hong Kong in 1992 and became
a partner in 1999. He is also admitted in England and Wales. His
particular area of strength is conveyancing including project development,
property and mortgage related matters. He also deals with leasing,
commercial banking, project finance and share transfer matters.

since been practising as a civil litigation lawyer. Mr. Wong is
also admitted in England and Wales. He became a partner in 1999.

commercial litigation. He also handles divorce and matrimonial disputes
and other civil litigation matters.

interests also cover Commercial and Corporate matters. He is a
member of the Review Body on Bid Challenges appointed by the
Secretary for Commerce and Industry under the World Trade
Organization Agreement on Government Procurement, and Chairman of the
Appeal Board Panel appointed by the Secretary for Information
Technology and Broadcasting under the Entertainment Special Effects
Ordinance. He is also a member of the Panel of Adjudicators of the
Obscene Articles Tribunal.

Miss Mok, Janine Yee-Shun (莫漪淳)

Ms. Mok was admitted to practise in Hong Kong in 1996 and was
admitted in England and Wales in 1997. She became Partner in charge
of the Intellectual Property Department of the firm in 2002. She is
currently a member of the APAA, INTA and also AIPPI. She has
extensive experience in handling general prosecution of trade mark
applications, patent applications & design applications in Hong Kong
and supervising the like in the PRC as well as contentious IP
matters. She has been speaker on IP topic at the Free Legal Advice
Session in the Qingdao Hong Kong Promotion organized by the Law
Society of Hong Kong.

Mr. Chan was admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong in 1995 and in
England and Wales in 1997. He joined the firm in 2002 as a
Consultant and became a Partner in 2005. His focus of practice is
Civil Litigation including commercial litigation, personal injury
claims, land-related disputes, matrimonial and family proceedings,
judicial reviews and other civil claims. He also has wide-ranging
experience in conveyancing transactions, as well as commercial and

Mr. Wong, Antony (黃東尼)

Mr. Wong was admitted to practise in Hong Kong in 1987 and in England and Wales in 1994. He first joined the firm in 1987 and became a Partner in 1990. In 1991, he left to form his own firm Chan Wong & Lam. Mr. Wong specialises in corporate work and has considerable experience in post-incorporation matters; the planning and implementation of corporate reorganisations and mergers and acquisitions; and negotiation of shareholders’ agreements, joint venture agreements and other corporate matters. Mr. Wong also had a brief stint outside the legal field. Between 2001 and 2002, he joined a high-tech start-up as CEO, where he has gained valuable hands-on experience and exposure at making deals and running a high-tech business. He returned to practice at his previous firm as a Consultant in 2002. Mr. Wong rejoined Hastings & Co. as Partner in September 2006.

Ms. Chan, Bonita Bow-Ye (陳寶儀)

Ms. Chan first joined the firm in 1992 and was
admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong in 1994. Between 1994 to
2006, she has worked for a number of leading law firms with
experience in international practice, and rejoined Hastings & Co.
as a Partner in 2007.
Ms. Chan has broad experience in handling
corporate and commercial disputes. She has acted for banks and
financial institutions in banking litigation. She has also handled
complex commercial disputes acting for corporate and individual
clients in securities-related litigation, including conspiracy to
defraud, SFC investigations, SEHK disciplinary proceedings and
insider dealing enquiries. Ms. Chan also has wide experience
acting for hotels and food manufacturers in defending proceedings
instituted by the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department of the
HKSAR Government.
Ms. Chan is also experienced in advising
insurance companies on policy disputes, product liability,
professional negligence, personal injury and employees'
compensation claims.
Ms. Chan is a Committee Member of the External
Affairs Standing Committee of the Law Society of Hong Kong and a
Council Member of the Hong Kong Young Legal Professionals
Association Limited.
